It’s pretty apparent that Pinterest has become quite a success, and it really is a fantastic online solution to an inspirational board… but like most awesome tools out there, there are of course some downsides. Blogger Crafty Pod brought attention to a debate that’s been taking off in Pinterest-land about whether or not “re-pinning” an image without proper citation is an ethical violation of the owner’s copyrights. For example, if you re-pin an image to your personal board but don’t list it’s original source for others to see, is this fair to the originator?
