Well recently I came across this FABULOUS website called Polyvore, that lets you pull images from various websites (i.e. online catalogs) and create collage-like “sets”. In other words, in a matter of minutes you can style an entire room yourself! Not following? Ok, let’s take some items from the Crate and Barrel website that I talked about in my previous While flipping through this month’s Crate and Barrel catalog, I got stuck on a spread dedicated to Moroccan inspired prints. There I was… sitting at my kitchen table, looking out at all the snow and thinking “GOD I NEED A VACATION”! Well since I’m not able to head to Morocco, or some other exotic location anytime soon, I figured writing about it would be the next best (and far less expensive) thing. So this post is dedicated to the totally fun look of Moroccan decor, and it’s inspired by the never disappointing pages of the Crate and Barrel catalog. Now when Throughout the wedding planning process, I have come across quite a few articles about choosing the right color scheme. And it’s really got me thinking about our home, and how choosing the right colors with which to decorate can really set the mood (good, or bad!). Well right now I’m just loving the peacock pallet. The emeralds, blues and sometimes purples are sophisticated, yet fun! And through this very snowy and cold winter, it makes me feel a bit tropical! See for yourself!
