After my little ombre hearts project last weekend, I’ve been all over Pinterest looking for other fun ways to decorate with paper. I love paper crafts because they are relatively easy, you can really customize your work, and best of all – it can be super cheap! After you’ve found your inspiration, it’s time to pick out your paper – and my best tip is to avoid the scrapbook aisle at your local craft store and instead buy digital paper! Last Sunday we were blessed with a lovely mix of snow, sleet and rain for most of the weekend. You know, that weather that makes even those girls with a Brazilian blowout look horrendous? Well on the bright side it meant I got to rock sweatpants and an unattractive yet super comfortable hoodie for 16 straight hours and do crafts all day while Tony played Call of Duty! Fun times at the Hopf Household! So remember that heart punch I told you about here? Well I put it to good use my friends. DIY Project: Ombre Just got a new craft tool in the mail yesterday, and I’m preeeeety excited about it! It’s the Martha Stewart Craft Punch in the heart shape. I got it off Amazon, but you can probably get it at most craft stores. Basically it makes cutting out shapes (in this case hearts) super easy, so you can do bulk cutting in no time at all! I have a DIY wall art project that I’ve been wanting to try, so this is going to reduce the cutting time (and increase the accuracy) drastically. Wallpaper is HOT! And I just got word that you can now buy it for temporary decor! Say wha???? If we didn’t spend 10,000 hours removing wallpaper and repainting our entire house, I would totally jump on this non-committal bandwagon. But in all seriousness, I’ve been shopping around a bit for some cute thank you notes/stationary, and have come across some of the prettiest and most creative designs… So of course I had to share!
