April 22nd, 2013 This latest T-man find is all about the DIY. Check out Instructables.com, a site devoted to bringing a community of DIYers together to literally make stuff happen! It’s basically Pinterest for DIY. Once on the site you can explore tutorials using their basic categories… Or just browse their extensive library when you need a little distraction from work. Make your own concrete door stop this weekend? Sure why not! I’m diggin’ this pallet deck chair. And if you’ve made something pretty snazzy yourself, upload photos and instructions to the site! The DIY lover

October 29th, 2012 Here’s a new take on the standard pull out sofa. Your two couches quickly become a overnight guest bed! Not to worry, the two sections lock in place when pushed together, so that guest of yours doesn’t end up on the floor in the morning. Thoughts on this clever living room decor? For more tips from the T-Man, check out the series here!

September 10th, 2012 I heard through the grapevine that some of you missed him… Well he’s back with some bookshelf recommendations! Source “Marica Vizzuso’s B-OK takes its inspiration from a room divider, able to fold up into a compact tower or fan out into a wider looking shelf. July 18th, 2012 Source This upside down looking building makes me nervous. I feel like it’s going to topple over! It’s the Hanoi Museum in Hà Nội City, Vietnam. The 30,000 square meter inverted pyramid building was designed by gmp Architekten. I don’t know how great the museum is inside, but it sure is fun to look at from the outside! July 6th, 2012 #3: Carbon Fiber Dining room Table Leave it to my electrical engineer husband to find a 12-foot-long carbon fiber dining room table that stands up on only one leg. Called the “Monolito and Megalito” and designed by British designer Jules Sturgess, this piece would definitely promote some interesting dinnertime conversation. Interested? You can read more about it here, but warning…this bad boy will cost you big bucks! Check out more tips from the man cave here! Brought to you by Dr. T.

June 14th, 2012 My husband has been a silent contributor to many of my blog posts, and so it’s time that I give him some recognition. Now his decor suggestions always seem to relate to building something or involve complex technology, and while I don’t like to support stereotypical gender roles, I must admit his ideas are not the most feminine. So for all you dude readers (I won’t name you, but I know you are out there), please enjoy this new HFoP segment of Tony ideas, called Tips from the Man Cave. The posts will almost always be short and sweet, oftentimes
