Hi Jenny! First of all, I love your blog. My good friend Danielle Platzer introduced it to me and I look forward to getting the emails the a new post has gone up!
Now for the good stuff, I typically look for the amount of energy consumption AND the brightness. Sometimes, the energy bulbs can give off a light that is very dull. In our bedroom, we have a energy save lightbulb that came from IKEA and we can barely see anything when we turn it on! My boyfriend and I recently moved in together so we are trying our best to save money wherever we can! I also “liked” massave on Facebook! Have a great 4th of July!
For me, the most important factor is the type of light produced – I have some vision problems and really prioritize high-quality light. That being said, I always try to find energy-efficient options. This used to be very challenging, as fluorescent lights only gave off a harsh glare, but now there are so many good choices, both in CFLs and LEDs.
I’m going to have to go with “other”- whatever my husband brings home! I think he probably looks for energy efficiency and cost as major factors though.
Thanks for the give away!
Congrats Kelly – you are the fabulous winner!!!!
I’ll email you for your mailing address!
I look at how long the bulb will last for my money.
I “like” your Facebook page (FB name: Madeline Brubaker).
Thanks everyone for entering! The winner will be selected and emailed tomorrow!!!
