Oh how I love new furniture purchases, and this one is especially exciting because it’s a a custom piece!
Back in May I recieved a gift card from my bridal shower (thanks!) to a very cool furniture store in my neighborhood called Bella Decor. But when I finally was ready to use it, I got to the store to find out they had closed!! BOO!! Well fortunately their sister store Sunshine Lucy’s which is just a town over would accept their gift cards, so off Tony and I went to spend our “free” money. That’s the best kind, you know.
We desperately needed bedside tables to replace the mismatch/unsturdy ones we had been using until we found something great. We met with Eddy at Sunshine Lucy’s, told him our idea, and within 15 minutes we had a sketch of two tables, exactly how we wanted them!
Off Eddy went to build and paint, and two weeks later, we got the call that they were ready. And man were we thrilled with how they turned out!
Check it out!
Yes, this difference in design is intentional
Jenny = left, Tony = right

He used a milk wash paint over reclaimed wood.
My favorite part is the exposed wood, which gives it a real shabby chic feel.

And who doesn’t get excited over funky knobs?

Lot’s of space on top…

And inside!

And a perfect fit (well almost). Due to the bedroom door, we have everything shifted over to the left a bit. But it works!

If you live in the Boston area, definitely check out Sunshine Lucy’s!

His and Hers bedside tables! You guys are so cute
They look great!
We had our gorgeous dining room table custom made by them!
